Abby Clair is the resident expert in clay working. Together, we collaborated on designing a jewelry box featuring laser engraving on the inside. The inscription within the box is a quote from a Zach Bryan song: “you’re the sun to me.” Given my lack of prior experience in engraving on clay, I conducted numerous tests to determine the optimal settings for achieving the desired outcome. Now that I’ve gained experience in engraving clay, my next endeavor is to explore engraving on round pots.
