Today, I’m comparing my own CNC routing work to CNC artist “Lucid Machine Art”. To start, I’ve always worked on a 3-axis CNC, while Lucid works with 3, 4, and even 5-axis CNC machines. This means the capabilities of their work can be three-dimensional, as opposed to my work, which is more focused on 2D constructs.
